Harlan County Sheriff's Office executes a search warrant at Eastbrook Apts - 2 arrested

From the Harlan County Sheriff's Office -

On Friday, June 25, 2021, the Harlan County Sheriff’s Office and Appalachia Narcotics Investigations executed a Search Warrant at an apartment in Eastbrook. The search warrant was a result of an ongoing investigation conducted by the Harlan County Sheriff’s Office and Detectives with Appalachia Narcotics Investigations.


Upon execution of the Search Warrant Methamphetamine, Heroin, Hydrocodone pills and Suboxone was located. Two handguns, a shotgun and US Currency were also seized from the residence.


Amanda Blevins, 40, of Eastbrook was charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree (greater than 2 grams of Methamphetamine), Trafficking in Controlled Substance (Heroin), Importing Heroin, and Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Schedule 1 & 2).


Blevins was also served with an Arrest Warrant for Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Greater than 2 Grams of Methamphetamine). The Warrant was a result of an Undercover Investigation in which Blevins sold approximately 14 Grams of Methamphetamine.


Hillary Smallwood, 46, of Wallins was also at the residence and was arrested on Bell County Circuit Court Bench Warrants for Failure to Appear and Probation Violation.


Both subjects were lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center.


The case remains under investigation by Appalachia Narcotics Investigations and the Harlan County Sheriff’s Office. Additional warrants are outstanding and additional arrests are pending.
