A short time after 4:30 Friday afternoon March 22, 2019 Home Federal Bank of Harrogate Tennessee reported being robbed. At the time the suspect was last seen running on foot on Washington Avenue, but shortly afterward may have been picked up.
The man is described as wearing a covering over his head and neck, but his face was still visible. He was last seen wearing a long sleeved black shirt. One person posted on our social media that: "He was walking in when I walked out of the bank. My husband said he had tattoos on his head." Still another person stated: "I was there and watched him go in and leave... He was very calm about it."
Detective Chris Cardwell released a surveillance picture of what investigators believe is the vehicle the man got away in Friday after the incident. Detectives believe the vehicle went south on Highway 25E.
Det. Cardwell is encouraging the public to call 911 if you know this man, his whereabouts, or where the vehicle is located.
