Lee County Virginia Commonwealth’s Attorney H. Fuller Cridilin states that on Wednesday March 13, 2019 a Lee County was sentenced to serve six years in a Methamphetamine case.

Cridilin went on to state that 44 year old Don Bolden of Jonesville was sentenced to the Virginia State Penitentiary for possession of approximately (2) twenty grams of Methamphetamine with intent to distribute. This term of active incarceration will be followed by (10) years of supervised probation.

Bolden was originally charged following a traffic stop on December 18, 2017 when Lee County Deputy Denver Scholl initiated the stop, searched the vehicle, and located the Methamphetamine, digital scales, and unused small plastic bags.

Cridilin commended the deputy for working closely with his office throughout all stages of the prosecution. He also praised Scholl for removing the drug from the area and making the community safer by bringing the defendant to justice.
