From KSP Post 11 -
Kentucky State Police, Post 11, London received a call for assistance from Laurel County Dispatch around 1:00 am Monday morning October 30, 2023, with a structure fire on Terrell Road 10 north of London in Laurel County.
After the fire was extinguished, firefighters discovered one human remain inside the burnt residence. The victim was identified as 54-year-old Melissa S. Creech of London, KY. The Laurel County Coroner’s Office pronounced Melissa Creech deceased on scene. Investigators are working together to determine the cause of the fire.
Kentucky State Police Trooper Steve Walker in continuing the investigation he was assisted on scene by Ky Fire Marshalls Office, Several Local Fire Department and Laurel County Coroner’s Office. This case remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police.
