Kentucky State Police Investigating Fatal Crash in Knox County

On August 14, 2026, at approximately 8:41 p.m., Knox County 911 contacted Kentucky State Police Post 10 Dispatch requesting assistance with a possible fatal collision on Little Indian Creek Road in Knox County.
Trooper Ben Meadows, Trooper Brian Nantz, Sergeant Bobby Roberts, the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, and Knox County Rescue Squad responded to the scene.
Upon arrival, Trooper Meadows located a red Dodge pickup truck overturned in the creek. Members of the Knox County Rescue Squad entered the water and confirmed that one occupant was deceased inside the vehicle.
The operator was identified as William Hundley. Knox County Coroner Mike Blevins responded to the scene and pronounced Hundley deceased at approximately 9:44 p.m.
Toxicology results are pending.
The crash remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Trooper Ben Meadows.
