Knox County Ky Deputies arrest two for drug trafficking

On Saturday, February 3, 2024, Knox County Deputy Jeremiah Williamson received a complaint of a man being high on meth at a residence on Columbia Drive in Hinkle. When Deputy Williamson arrived, he observed a pick-up truck with a man (Harold Mills) sitting inside. He also observed a man (Curtis Riley) standing near the pick-up truck, who attempted to flee on foot. After apprehending Curtis Riley, Deputy Williamson located plastic bags containing suspected crystal methamphetamine in his possession.


After checking Harold Mills, Deputy Williamson also located suspected crystal methamphetamine, a pill bottle containing several white tablets. a large number of plastic bags and a glass “meth pipe” in his possession.


52-year-old Curtis Ray Riley of Hinkle, KY was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance-1st Degree, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.


63-year-old Harold Mills of Girdler, KY was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance-1st Degree, Prescription Controlled Substance not in Proper Container and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.


A total of approximately eleven grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine were seized.


Curtis Riley and Harold Mills were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
