Knox County Ky. drug arrests

From Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith -

On Saturday, February 2, 2019 Knox County Deputies Bobby Jones and SGT Carl Frith received a complaint of possible drug activity involving a red Ford pick-up on HWY 718 near Bailey Branch in Walker.


When they arrived in the area they observed a red Ford pick-up. After checking the pick-up, the deputies located a small plastic bag containing suspected methamphetamine, and a loaded syringe.


The driver, 40 year old Oscar Thomas Roark of Walker, KY, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance-1st Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Produce Insurance Card and Failure to Wear Seat Belts.


A passenger in the vehicle, 34 year old Jeremy R Ferrell of Walker, KY, was also arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance-1st Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Failure to Wear Seat Belts.


Oscar Roark and Jeremy Ferrell were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
