Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith is reporting the following Enforcement Actions:


On June 4, 2019 Knox County Deputy Hunter Luttrell observed a female unstable on her feet while walking on Standard Avenue in Corbin. After checking the female, Deputy Luttrell arrested Danielle Gibson age 34 of Corbin, KY charging her with Public Intoxication/Controlled Substance. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.


On June 4, 2019 Knox County Deputy Hunter Luttrell responded to a domestic dispute involving a mother and son at a residence on Old 25 E in Gray. Deputy Luttrell arrested Kenny Wyatt age 43 of Corbin, KY charging him with Assault-4th Degree. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.


On June 5, 2019 Knox County Deputy James Fox observed a female swaying back and forth while walking on Highway 11 in Barbourville. The female advised she had shot-up with meth. Deputy Fox arrested Martina H Roark age 22 of Corbin, KY charging her with Public Intoxication/Controlled Substance. During the arrest a syringe was found in her possession. She was then charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.


On June 6, 2019 Deputy Hunter Luttrell responded to a domestic complaint at a residence on Roark Cemetery Road in Trosper. While conducting an investigation the female victim stated that Woodson Williams had pointed a pistol at her and threatened to kill her. Deputy Luttrell arrested Woodson Williams age 64 of Barbourville, KY charging him with Wanton Endangerment-1st Degree. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.


On June 6, 2019 SGT Carl Frith arrested Patrick Gray age 27 of Artemus, KY on a Knox County Bench Warrant for failure to appear on Driving on DUI Suspended License, No Registration Plates or Receipt and Failure to Register Transfer of Motor Vehicle charges. Patrick Gray was also wanted on a Kentucky Parole Board Warrant for a Parole Violation. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.


On June 6, 2019 SGT Carl Frith arrested Tammy R Smith age 44 of Barbourville, KY on a Knox County Bench Warrant for failure to pay the fine on a Public Intoxication/Controlled Substance and Contempt of Court charges. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.


On June 6, 2019 at approximately 11:15 Knox County Deputy Mikey Ashurst was patrolling in the Bull Creek area when he observed a vehicle repeatedly going up and down the road. When Deputy Ashurst stopped the vehicle the front seat passenger jumped out and fled on foot. Deputy Ashurst was able to catch Albert Earl Abner JR age 49 of London, KY who was wanted on a Kentucky Parole Board Warrant for a Parole Violation and a Laurel County Bench Warrant for a Child Support charges. In addition to the warrants, Deputy Ashurst charged him with Fleeing or Evading Police-2nd Degree, Resisting Arrest, Menacing and Disorderly Conduct-2nd Degree. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.


On June 7, 2019 SGT Carl Frith received a complaint of a man violating an EPO/DVO at a residence on Henson Hollow Road in Barbourville. After arriving at the residence, SGT Frith arrested David Wolf age 36 of Barbourville, KY charging him with Violation of Kentucky EPO/DVO. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.


On June 7, 2019 SGT Carl Frith responded to a complaint of a drunk man on someone’s porch on Lynn Camp Hollow Road in Gray. SGT Frith arrested Jimmy Brock age 55 of Lily, KY charging him with Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.


On June 7, 2019 Knox County Deputy Bobby Jones received information of drug trafficking at a residence on Little Bull Creek Road in Woolum. After traveling to the residence, Deputy Jones located a glass meth pipe, a syringe a blue colored tablet. Deputy Jones arrested Denise Lynn Mills age 41 of Green Road, KY charging her with Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.


On June 7, 2019 Knox County Deputy James Fox responded to a complaint of a man removing items from an abandoned house on Moore Hill Avenue in Corbin. After making contact with the man, Deputy Fox arrested Howard Michael Mullins age 52 of Corbin, KY charging him with Criminal Trespass-3rd Degree and Public Intoxication/Controlled Substance. During the arrest, a syringe was located in Howard Mullins’ Possession, he was then charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.


On June 7, 2019 Deputy Bobby Jones arrested Hoyt D Gambrel age 42 of Flat Lick, KY on a Knox County Arrest Warrant for Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle and Leaving Scene of Accident-Failure to Render Aid. He was also wanted on two Knox County Bench Warrants for failure to pay the fines on Resident Hunting/Trapping Without License/Permit, Driving on DUI Suspended License charges and two Bell County Bench Warrants for failure to pay the fines on DUI and No Insurance charges. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.


On June 7, 2019 Deputy Bobby Jones arrested Terri Lynn Stanley age 36 of Flat Lick, KY on three Knox County Bench Warrants for failure to pay the fines on Criminal Trespassing-2nd Degree, Violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO, Disorderly Conduct-2nd Degree and Assault-4th Degree. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.


On June 9, 2019 Deputy Sam Mullins arrested Thomas Lawson age 47 of Keavy, KY on a Knox County Indictment Warrant for Bail Jumping-1st Degree and Persistent Felony Offender I. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
