Knox County Search Warrant Nets Felon With Guns and Drugs

From The Knox County Ky Sheriff's Department -

On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, Knox County deputies were serving a search warrant at Youngs Creek Road residence in Corbin. Deputy Martin states in his citation that upon searching the residence, deputies observed in plain sight, multiple Suboxone strips in a gum container. The deputies also saw a small glass jar with suspected Marijuana inside and a pipe with residue.
Found under a bed were two homemade pipes and a plate with residue and on the bed were two scales with suspected Methamphetamine residue. Also in the bedroom were baggies with a large amount of a white crystal-like substance believed to be Methamphetamine, another set of digital scales, and clear empty baggies commonly used in drug trafficking.

Also located was a 9mm handgun and a 16-gauge shotgun with a missing stock.
The occupant of the home, 62-year-old Carl Lickliter of Corbin, Ky., was arrested and lodged in the Knox County Detention Center charged with trafficking in controlled substance - 1st degree 2nd or greater offense (greater than two grams - Methamphetamine), prescription controlled substance not in proper container - 1st offense, buying/possessing drug paraphernalia, convicted felon in possession of a firearm, convicted felon in possession of a handgun, and trafficking in a legend drug - 1st offense.
