KSP Investigating A Double-Fatality Collision in Harlan County - Victims Identified

From the Kentucky State Police Post 10 -

At approximately 11:26am Wednesday morning, August 13th, Kentucky State Police Post 10 received a call regarding a two-vehicle fatal collision at the intersection of US 119 and US 421 (Red Light #1 in Harlan County).
Troopers responded to the scene and began an investigation, and KSP can confirm two individuals have died as a result of the crash.
Harlan Co. Deputy Coroner John Jones responded and pronounced 79-year-old Phyllis Frazier of New Tazewell, TN, and 45-year-old Franklin D. Saylor, Jr., of Baxter, KY, both deceased at 12:24 pm. Both families were notified of this accident. One individual from the accident was taken to the Harlan ARH Hospital.
Kentucky State Police were assisted by the Harlan Police Department, Harlan County Sheriff's Office, Sunshine Fire Department, Harlan Fire Department, Lifeguard Ambulance, and the Harlan County Coroner’s Office.
