Beatyville Ky. Man Arrested in Bell County on Voyeurism and Stalking Charges

On Monday June 15, 2026, the female victim came to the Bell County Sheriff's Office to report that she had obtained videos of her being filmed in the bathroom changing her clothes and personal hygeine items.

She stated that 21-year-old Alex Lopez of Beatyville, Ky. had been caught recording her previously. She also stated Lopez said he had accidentally left the phone on record after recording himself in the act of self-gratification for his girlfriend, the sister of the victim.

Upon contacting Lopez, Detective Luttrell read him his rights, and he admitted to using a ladder to climb up to the victim’s window to record her without her knowledge on multiple occasions.  He also admitted to taking pictures of other female victims in the home and creating a story that blamed a former co-worker for the recordings/pictures.  

Lopez claimed he deleted the videos and created another Snapchat account to establish the fake story of sending the videos of himself to the victim’s sister.

Alex Lopez was arrested and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with video voyeurism, tampering with physical evidence, and stalking – 1^st degree.
