Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Travis Napier along with Sgt. Greg Poynter, Deputy Brad Mink, Deputy Brent France, and Deputy James Fox arrested 35 year old Christy Deaton of London on Friday afternoon October 11, 2019 at approximately 3:54 PM.
The arrest occurred off Branch Rd., East, approximately 5 miles north of London after Deaton was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of public intoxication – controlled substances.
In addition, Deaton was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court regarding abused or neglected child – allegedly arrearage owed $1048.14.
Christy Deaton was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
