Middlesboro Convicted Felon Found in Possession of Handguns and Drugs

On Tuesday, March 11th, 2025, at approximately 6:30 a.m., Middlesboro Police responded to reports of a convicted felon, 38-year-old Joshua Miracle, being at 304 South 33rd Street, armed with a handgun and currently on parole.


Sgt. Jeremiah Johnson, Officer Hunter Marcum, and Officer Caleb Ayers located Miracle inside the residence. He was found in possession of two 9mm handguns, one of which was stolen and loaded. Miracle also had (31) thirty-one 9mm rounds of ammunition, Buprenorphine tablets, and Clonazepam tablets.


Joshua Miracle was arrested and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center, charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, receiving stolen property (firearm), possession of controlled substance - 2nd degree (drug unspecified, possession of a controlled substance - 3rd degree (drug unspecified) and he was served a parole violation.
