Middlesboro man arrested for shooting at a woman who pulled into wrong driveway

On Friday night November 26, 2021, a short time after 9:30pm, Middlesboro Police Lt Josh Burchett responded to a call of shots fired at a Pilot Drive residence.


Once on scene, the lieutenant found that 52-year-old Timothy S. Evans of Middlesboro shot at a woman who had accidentally pulled into the wrong driveway. Middlesboro Dispatch confirmed that Evans had multiple felony convictions and was found with (2) two pistols in his possession.


The woman was not injured in the incident.


Timothy Evans was arrested and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with wanton endangerment – 1st degree for firing a Taurus .357 in the woman’s direction and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. He was also served a warrant for assault - 2nd degree.


Evans is being held on a $10,000 cash bond.


Assisting in the incident were Sgt Barnes along with officers Jake Partin, John Kinder, Jake Perry, and Ben Spurlock.
