Middlesboro Police announce drug traffickers arrested

From the Middlesboro Police Department -

Acting Police Chief Tom Busic states that over the past few weeks the MPD has made several drug trafficking arrests as a result of investigations conducted for the past several months independently and in conjunction with the Appalachia Narcotics Investigations Task Force.
The chief goes on to state that a good number of the investigations were conducted in response to complaints of drug activity from citizens.
Arrested and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center were:
William "Flip" North - Trafficking in controlled substance - 1st degree.
Ely "Cowboy" Hembree - 6 counts trafficking in controlled substance - 1st degree and 1 count of trafficking in controlled substance - 2nd degree.
Clifford C. Williams - 2 counts of trafficking in controlled substance - 1st degree.
Billy R. Hughett - 2 counts of trafficking in controlled substance - 1st degree.
Charles Ted Gilbert - 2 counts of trafficking in controlled substance - 1st degree.
Christopher M. Shackelford - 1 count of trafficking in controlled substance - 1st degree and 1 count of trafficking in controlled substance - 2nd degree.
David E. Strunk - 2 counts of trafficking in controlled substance - 1st degree and 1 count of engaging in organized crime.
Latoya Collier - Trafficking in controlled substance - 1st degree and 1 count of engaging in organized crime. Henry Barnes - 2 counts of trafficking in controlled substance - 1st degree.
