Middlesboro Police execute search warrant regarding drug trafficking netting 5 arrests

From the Middlesboro Police Department -

On Wednesday, January 12, 2022, Middlesboro Police Department executed a search warrant at 1510 Winchester Avenue in reference to a lengthy drug investigation conducted by the Middlesboro Interdiction Team. During the investigation period, officers have seized various amounts of dangerous narcotics coming from the residence.

Results of this search warrant yielded a large amount of suspected Methamphetamine, prescription pills, Marijuana, a firearm, drug paraphernalia, and other items used in the consumption and distribution of illegal drugs.


The following individuals were charged during this investigation:

James Carroll of Middlesboro for trafficking controlled substance - 1st degree (Methamphetamine) 2nd or greater offense, trafficking controlled substance - 1st degree (drug unspecified) (2) two counts of trafficking in controlled substance - 3rd degree (drug unspecified), possession of Marijuana, buying/possessing drug paraphernalia, and he was served a bench warrant;

Dallas Denny of Pineville charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and possession of controlled substance - 1st degree (Methamphetamine);






Tristan Westbrook of Middlesboro charged with possession of controlled substance - 1st degree (Methamphetamine), possession of Marijuana, and buying/possessing drug paraphernalia;






Melissa Blackburne of Middlesboro was served a bench warrant;








and Dorothy Miracle of Middlesboro was served (2) two bench warrants.






*All individuals are innocent until proven guilty.
