Middlesboro Police find two women on warrants and a third with over 100 grams of meth

From WRIL -

On Saturday night February 15, 2020 at 5:50pm working off an anonymous tip, Middlesboro Officer Chris Barnes – assisted by Officer Jeremiah Johnson - was given the location of two women wanted on outstanding warrants. They were identified as 29 year old Crystal Earle and 38 year old Lacie Duchemin both of Middlesboro.

Once the officers arrived at the residence in Polly Hollow, Duchemin ran from the front porch into the home followed by Officer Barnes who arrested her. Officer Johnson went to the back of the home and saw Crystal Earle through a window. Officer Barnes continued into the house looking for Earle and noticed a large black plastic box with a lock sitting next to the door. Next to the box was a clear bag containing a crystal-like substance and on top was a digital scale with several yellow distribution bags. Officer Johnson then came into the home and apprehended Crystal Earle.

Further investigation by the officers revealed that another woman in the home identified as 28 year old Jennifer Rose of Middlesboro was determined to have the key to the locked box in her pants pocket. The box was opened by the officers and revealed another large clear bag containing a clear crystal-like substance, digital scales, and more yellow distribution bags. Also present was homeowner and another female who both confirmed Rose lived in the room where the substance was found.

Jennifer Rose, Crystal Earl, and Lacie Duchemin were all placed in Officer Barnes cruiser. Before leaving the scene the women were seen moving around in the back of the vehicle. Officer Barnes removed Jennifer Rose from the cruiser and discovered $462.00 hanging halfway out of her pants pocket. She also admitted a short time later to having another large quantity of a crystal-like substance hidden in a body cavity. She was transported to Middlesboro ARH to have it removed.

The total weight of the three bags was 103 grams of suspected Methamphetamine.

All three women were lodged in the Bell County Detention Center.

Jennifer Rose was charged with trafficking in controlled substance – 1st degree, 1st offense (greater than 2 grams Methamphetamine) and buying/selling drug paraphernalia.

Crystal Earl was served a warrant for a probation violation.

Lacie Duchemin was served three outstanding warrants.
