Once charged for trespassing during funeral visitation, three now charged with burglary

Three people arrested two weeks ago for trespassing at the home of a relative that had just died were once again arrested an formally charged with burglary Wednesday evening June 27, 2019.


We reported on Thursday June 13, 2019, just after 5:30, Bell County Dispatch received a call of a burglary in progress at a residence on Balkan Road involving 38 year old George Johnson of Calloway.


The incident was happening at a residence of a man who had passed away on Monday June 10th and while most of the surviving family was at his funeral visitation. George Johnson is the husband of one of the man’s daughters, 36 year old Mary Johnson, who was also present during the incident along with another daughter, 40 year old Dolly Brock.

Responding to the scene was Bell County Deputy Adam Southern along with KSP Troopers Taylor Mills and Josh Messer.


At the time Johnson was taken into custody and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with menacing, resisting arrest, criminal trespassing – 3rd degree, public intoxication (excluding alcohol), and he was served an outstanding warrant for not appearing in court on shoplifting charges in March of this year.


Mary Johnson was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing – 3rd degree.


Dolly Brock - BCDC

And Dolly Brock was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing – 3rd degree and public intoxication (excluding alcohol).


All three were arrested by Pineville Officer Brandon Hollingsworth on warrants taken out by Bell County Deputy Justin Patterson and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center and charged with burglary 1st degree.



All three are being held on $50,000 cash bonds.
