Pineville Man Charged With Multiple Sexual Offenses

On Friday October 24, 2025, a Pineville man was arrested after being charged with several sexual offenses involving his own family 30 years ago.
According to the complaint warrant, on September 24, 2025, KSP Detective Jake Middleton began an investigation into sexual abuse allegations regarding Eric C. Bauer and a family member. The alleged acts were said to have taken place from different time periods of 1990 to 1995, 1993 to 1995, and 1995 to 1997.
The complaint states that the "deviate sexual acts" took place from the time the victim was seven to twelve years old and then continued from the age of fourteen to twenty years old occurring "nearly every day inside the residence both individuals shared."
Eric Bauer was lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with two counts of sexual abuse - 1st degree - victim under the age of 12, two counts of sexual abuse - 1st degree, two counts of incest - with a person less than 12 years of age, two counts of incest - victim under the age of 18, and two counts of incest.
He is being held on five $250,000 cash bonds.
For the record, there is no statute of limitations for felony prosecution cases in regard to sexual abuse - 1st degree or incest charges.
