On August 20, 2019 Deputy Sam Mullins arrested Christopher Evans age 37 of Corbin, KY on a Knox County Bench Warrant for failure to pay the fines on Public Intoxication-Controlled Substance and Terroristic Threatening-3rd Degree charges. He was also wanted on a Whitley County Bench Warrant for Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition-under $500. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On August 20, 2019 Deputy Bobby Jones arrested Shaunda Reed age 39 of Barbourville, KY on Evergreen Road in Flat Lick charging her with Public Intoxication-Controlled Substance. She was also wanted on a Knox County Arrest Warrant for Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition-under $500. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On August 20, 2019 Deputy Hunter Luttrell arrested Laura Joyce Hammons age 27 of Corbin, KY on a Knox County Bench Warrant for failure to pay the fine on a Receiving Stolen Property-under $500. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On August 20, 2019 Deputy Bobby Jones conducted a traffic stop on Evergreen Road in Flat Lick. Deputy Jones located a syringe and a 45 caliber handgun inside the vehicle. Deputy Jones arrested the driver, William Garrett Allen age 39 of Flat Lick, KY charging him with Possession of Handgun by Convicted Felon, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Produce Insurance Card, Rear License not Illuminated and Failure to Register Transfer of Motor Vehicle. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On August 22, 2019 Deputy Mikey Ashurst observed a 2012 yellow Camaro, that had been reported stolen on August 21, 2019, on US 25E in Flat Lick. After stopping the vehicle, Deputy Ashurst arrested, the driver, Kevin Fuston age 27 of Pineville, KY and the passenger, Ragon Johnson, age 26 of Barbourville, KY charging them both with Receiving Stolen Property-over $10,000. They were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On August 22, 2019 Deputy Bobby Jones arrested Eddie Gray age 51 of Barbourville, KY on a Knox County Arrest Warrant for Terroristic Threatening-3rd Degree. He was also wanted on a Knox County Bench Warrant for failure to pay the fine on a Carrying Concealed Weapon charge. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On August 23, 2019 at approximately 9:45 pm Deputy Hunter Luttrell received a report of a man knocking on doors on Highway 11. Deputy Luttrell located and arrested Andrew Kyle Saunder age 24 of Barbourville, KY charging him with Wanton Endangerment-2nd Degree, Public Intoxication/Controlled Substance and Resisting Arrest. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On August 25, 2019 Deputy James Fox responded to a suspicious person complaint on Evergreen Road in Flat Lick. When Deputy Fox made contact with the person, he became belligerent and physically resisted arrest. Charles Justin Hunter age 36 of Pineville, KY was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication-Controlled Substance and Resisting Arrest. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On August 26, 2019 Deputy James Fox arrested Jamie L Warfield age 26 of Barbourville, KY on a Knox County Arrest Warrant for Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition-under $500. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
