Pursuit ends with Arrest of Lexington Man

Richmond, Ky. (March 19th, 2019) On Tuesday March 19th 2019 around 4 A.M Sgt. Doug Stacy with Kentucky State Police Vehicle Enforcement attempted to stop a silver 2011 Dodge Avenger that was traveling at 104 MPH on I-75 near the 86 mile marker in Madison County Kentucky.
Upon activation of emergency lights and sirens the vehicle failed to stop leading Sgt. Stacy on a high speed chase down I-75 through multiple counties including Madison, Rockcastle, and Laurel. The chase left I-75 at exit 29 and continued onto US25E for several miles entering into Knox County. The chase finally coming to an end just outside Barbourville Kentucky on highway 6 in Knox County.
Officers arrested 19 year old Teonte White of Lexington Kentucky and lodged him in the Madison County Detention Center on charges: Speeding and Fleeing or Evading Police 1st. Sgt. Doug Stacy continues the investigation.
