From The Middlesboro Police Department -
Early Saturday morning August 24, 2019 just before 12:30am, Middlesboro Police Officer Nick Capps arrested a Middlesboro man on multiple charges.
Capps states in his citation that 36 year old Bobby Marcum was operating an ATV in the roadway on the right fork of Pollow Hollow.
Officer Capps initiated a traffic stop on Marcum informing him that he could not be on the roadway. Marcum was then asked by Capps for consent to search both him and the ATV which was given. Found in the search at the back of the ATV was a pill bottle with (17) seventeen marked yellow pills believed to be Hydrocodone.
Bobby Marcum was arrested and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with operating an ATV on the roadway, failure to maintain insurance, no registration plates, and possession of controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (drug unspecified).
