Sex offender violator arrested in Claiborne County

Aaron Brett Potter - CCJ

On Tuesday, August 10, 2021, 59-year-old Aaron Brett Potter, of New Tazewell, TN. was arrested for 12 counts of Violation of Sex Offender Registry. The Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division, through a lengthy investigation, found that Potter violated the registry on 12 separate occasions.

Potter is being housed at the Claiborne County Jail awaiting arraignment.
