Sniper suit robbery at Wildcat Market in Flatlick

From The Knox County Sheriff's department -

(Flat Lick, Ky.) At approximately 3:30am this morning Knox County Deputy Mikey Ashurst responded to an armed robbery at Wildcat Market 9201 Highway 25E.


The clerk stated the man was approximately six feet tall with a large muscular build. The suspect was wearing what is known as a Ghillie sniper suit to hide his identity and he threatened the clerk with a black handgun. He took an undetermined amount of cash in the incident.


The vehicle he left in is a silver 2012 Jeep Liberty or Commander with the driver's side brake light out. While Bell County and Corbin authorities were alerted, his direction of travel was not certain at the time of the incident.
