South Carolina man threatens students and staff at Union College

Alexander Robert Anderson - KCDC

On Tuesday, March 26, 2019 The Knox County Sheriff’s Office received information that 21 year old Alexander Robert Anderson of Rock Hill, SC used social media to threaten to cause harm to students and staff at Union College.


Knox County Deputy Hunter Luttrell obtained and executed an arrest warrant lodging Anderson in the Knox County Detention Center on a $5,000 full cash bond with the conditions that he not have any further contact with Union College and that he is on home incarceration with a monitoring device.


During Anderson’s arrest he attempted to provoke officers into fighting him and claimed that “everyone in Knox County was racist.”


Alexander Anderson has been charged with Terroristic Threatening - 2nd degree. His arraignment is set for 9:00am Tuesday April 2, 2019.
