Tennessee man arrested in Knox County Ky after reports of gunshots into a home

On February 21, 2020 at approximately 9:30 pm Knox County Deputies Bobby Jones and Elijah Broughton were dispatched to a disturbance involving shots fired at a residence on Dixon Drive in Corbin. Before arriving at the location, Knox Dispatch advised that Justin Marlowe, who had fired the weapon, left the residence in a vehicle and had wrecked.


The deputies located 26 year old Justin Marlowe of Lafollette Tennessee outside a residence on Foxwood Drive in Corbin. During the investigation the deputies learned that Marlowe had fired a handgun inside the residence on Dixon Drive in the presence of three adults and three juveniles. He had also assaulted two of the adults. Before leaving the residence, he also shot a tire down on a vehicle parked in in the driveway.


Justin James Marlowe was arrested and charged with six (6) counts of Wanton Endangerment-1st Degree, two (2) counts of Assault-4th Degree, Assault-4th Degree/Dating Violence, two (2) counts of Criminal Trespass, Operating Motor Vehicle Under the Influence/Drugs and Criminal Mischief-2nd Degree.


The deputies later learned the vehicle, a late model Dodge diesel truck, Marlowe wrecked had been reported stolen in Tennessee. Marlowe was then charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking-over $10,000. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
