Tennessee man arrested in Middlesboro on sexual offense charge

On Wednesday, morning October 28, 2020 Middlesboro Police arrested a Harrogate, Tennessee man on a sexual offense charge that had been investigated by the Bell County Sheriff’s Department.


Bell County Deputy Nathaniel Price states in the citation that from March 29, 2020 to March 30, 2020 19 year old Holden Williams engaged in sexual intercourse with a female victim who was passed out due to alcohol intoxication at a Ferndale Apartment location.


Williams was taken into custody at Happy Hollow Apartments by Middlesboro Officer Caleb Ayers just before 2:00am and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with rape – 1st degree.


The parameters for a rape – 1st degree charge is defined as the victim being incapable of consent – physically helpless.
