Two arrested after trying to break in to a business in Knox County

On Saturday March 9, 2019 at approximately 5:00 pm Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith, Deputies Bobby Jones and SGT Carl Frith responded to a reported attempted burglary by two men at Dixon’s Market on Moore Hill Road in Corbin.


After conducting an investigation, it was determined the two men had only been attempting entry by shaking the front door. The officers also learned that one of the suspects had urinated in the middle of the roadway exposing himself to a female. The two men were located and arrested.


Fred Hudson age 41 of Phoenix City, AL was arrested and charged with Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place, Terroristic Threatening,-3rd Degree, Disorderly Conduct-1st Degree, Menacing, Indecent Exposure-2nd Degree and Resisting Arrest.


Devin Carroll - KCDC

Devin Carroll age 24 of Corbin, KY (Everlasting Arms) was also arrested and charged with Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place and Disorderly Conduct-1st Degree.

Fred Hudson and Devin Carroll were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
