Two arrested in Whitley County after search warrant executed

From The Williamsburg Police Department -

On Saturday, October 08, 2022, Williamsburg Police and Kentucky State Police, executed a search warrant at 4925 Louden Road, in eastern Whitley County. A search of the residence yielded suspected heroin, methamphetamine, a handgun, and $900.00 cash. Three juveniles were present when the warrant was being served.


Arrested and lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center were 42-year-old Jonathan Taylor and 20-year-old Madison Miller, both of Williamsburg.


Taylor has been charged with enhanced trafficking in a controlled substance - 1st degree, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of a controlled substance - 1st degree-methamphetamine, and endangering the welfare of a minor.


Miller has been charged with trafficking in a controlled substance - 1st degree-heroin, possession of a controlled substance - 1st degree-methamphetamine, and endangering the welfare of a minor.


The investigation was conducted by Officer Chad Foley, KSP Trooper Donnie Jones, and Officer Eddie Cain. Officers assisting with the investigation and the execution of the warrant included K-9 Sgt. Elijah Hunter and Officer Daniel Lovitt.
