Two from Claiborne County arrested for drugs and a gun after New Tazewell PD investigation.

From the New Tazewell Police Department -

On Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, at approximately 11:00am, an investigation was conducted by Detective Fugate of the New Tazewell Police Department at the Cross Street Shopping Center.

This investigation led to the seizure of approximately 100 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 17 grams of heroin, and a firearm.

Two individuals were arrested and taken into custody at the Claiborne County Jail.

Dustin J. Hensley, 38, and Krista M. Hoskins, 39, were charged as a result of the investigation.
