Two more arrests in Knox County store robbery

On Monday, January 6, 2020 Knox County Deputy Elijah Broughton arrested two more individuals in connection with the armed robbery of the A&B Market on Highway 225 near Artemus that occurred on December 21, 2019.


Jennifer Gray age 28 of Artemus, KY and Courtney Simpson age 32 of Artemus, KY were both charged with Robbery-1st Degree-complicity. Several hundred dollars of the stolen money was also recovered.


Jennifer Gray and Courtney Simpson were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.


On December 23, 2019 Deputy Broughton arrested Alex C Toothman age 21 of Artemus, KY charging him with Robbery-1st Degree and Russell Toothman age 47 of Artemus, KY charging him with Robbery-1st Degree-complicity.


KSP Detectives Aaron Fredrick and Jake Wilson assisted in the arrests.
