Pineville, Ky. (April 25, 2019) On April 25, 2019 at approximately 4:20 a.m. Kentucky State Police, Post 10 Harlan received a call of a fatal collision U.S.25E in the Pineville community of Bell County.
Preliminary investigation indicates Mark Buis (64) of Middlesboro was traveling north on U.S.25E while operating a 2010 Ford F-150.
Mr Buis observed a pedestrian standing in the roadway but was unable to avoid striking him. Ethan Fugate (18) of Pineville was struck in the middle of the roadway and pronounced deceased at the scene by Bell Co. Deputy Coroner.
No foul play is suspected. The collision is being investigated by Detective Dackery Larkey.
