Claiborne County search warrant yields meth, cash, and paraphernalia on man out on bond for drugs

Tuesday morning of August 12th, the Claiborne County Criminal Investigations Division and the Sheriff’s Office S.W.A.T. Team executed a narcotics search warrant at the home of 47 year old Radford Fox Jr. of Sunset Hills Lane in New Tazewell. The search warrant was the result of a lengthy investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Detectives into a larger methamphetamine trafficking ring.


During the search, Detectives found and seized methamphetamines, currency and drug paraphernalia.


Radford Fox Jr. was arrested and charged with 3 Counts of Sale of a Schedule II Controlled Substance and Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance for Resale. At the time of today’s arrest, Fox was under a $100,000 bond for a previous arrest on charges of Felony Evading Arrest, Retaliation for Past Action and Driving on Revoked. He was lodged in the Claiborne County Jail.
