LSO investigates fatal traffic crash on Langnau Rd.:
Laurel Sheriff's Lieut./Accident Reconstructionist Chris Edwards along with sheriff’s detectives and deputies are investigating a single vehicle single fatal traffic crash which occurred on Langnau Road, approximately 8 miles east of London on Friday afternoon August 28, 2020 at approximately 12:23 PM.
Sheriff's Investigators report that apparently a Pontiac Grand Am ran off the roadway and overturned on its top causing fatal injuries to the driver.
The driver was identified as: James J Bowling age 68 of London. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Laurel County Coroner's office.
Assisting for the Sheriff's office were: Maj. Chuck Johnson, Sgt. Brett Reeves, Detective James Sizemore, Detective Bryon Lawson, and Detective Taylor McDaniel. Laurel Sheriff's Lieut. Chris Edwards, lead investigator, continues the investigation.
Also assisting at the scene was: Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County, McWhorter Volunteer Fire Department, London-Laurel Rescue Squad, and the Laurel County Coroner's Office.
