From The Bell County Sheriff's Department -
Monday afternoon February 24, 2020 at 2:45pm K-9 Deputy Adam Southern came in contact with 43 year old William Justus Brock of Pineville standing outside his residence on Brock Hollow Road. As Southern exited his vehicle to speak with Brock, he fled the scene on foot carrying a black jacket evading the deputy for approximately 50 yards behind the home.
Once catching up to Brock, Deputy Southern observed him attempting to conceal the jacket in the basement door. Brock was ordered to show his hands and he was placed under arrest. Deputy Southern then found three open garbage bags of Marijuana laying in plain view beside the jacket ready for resale.
A further search of the jacket determined Brock to be in possession of a crystal-like substance believed to be Methamphetamine.
William Brock was arrested and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with possession of controlled substance – 1st degree, 1st offense – Methamphetamine and trafficking in Marijuana (8oz to 5lbs 2nd degree or greater offense), and evading police on foot.
He was also served an outstanding bench warrant for court and is being held on a $7,500 cash bond.
