Former officer and deputy now in Kentucky custody facing serious charges

As we reported on March 3, 2020 WRIL was made aware of an incident involving a former Bell County Sheriff's Deputy and Middlesboro Police Officer that took place on Saturday, February 29, 2020 which ended in Grainger County Tennessee after he was taken into custody. The incident involving a female victim began in Bell County.

33 old David Michael Bradley was being held by the Grainger County Sheriff's Department in in regard to public intoxication and a fugitive from justice charge out of Kentucky.

Bradley was taken into Kentucky custody on Friday March 27, 2020 and booked into the Bell County Detention Center by Kentucky State Police Trooper Taylor Mills.

In the complaint warrant, Trooper Mills states that on February 29, 2020 Bradley intentionally caused physical injury to a woman by pushing and shoving her and striking her in the mouth. The warrant goes on to state that Bradley choked the woman and held her against her will by handcuffs and shackles for approximately three hours.

David Michael Bradley has been charged with kidnapping, strangulation, and assault 4th degree (domestic violence). As of this report he has not been given bond.

David Michael Bradley has not been associated with either department for some time.
