Harlan Co Sheriff’s Office Makes Arrest on Burglary Charges. Additional arrests also

On Wednesday, June 19th Deputies with the Harlan County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Harlan man on Burglary charges. An arrest warrant was obtained by the Sheriff’s Office after an investigation into a Burglary in the Three Point community. An additional warrant that was obtained by Harlan PD for a Burglary in Harlan was also served.


46 John Drexil Donahue, of Harlan, was charged with two counts of Burglary 2nd Degree. He was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center with bond currently set at $2,500 full cash. Additional investigations are ongoing and additional charges are pending.


Other arrests out of Harlan County:

On Tuesday evening June 18, 2019, a traffic stop by the Sheriff’s Office on KY72 resulted in an arrest of a Harlan woman on drug related charges. 37 year old Michelle Harp, of Harlan, was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Operating Motor Vehicle Under the Influence, and Failure to Wear Seat Belt. She was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center with bond set at $2,500 full cash.


Several Harlan County Circuit court Indictments were served by the Sheriff’s Office. 35 year old Kathy Rice, of Harlan, was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Public Intoxication, and Persistent Felony Offender.


27 year old Robert Middleton, of Cawood, was charged with two counts of Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Theft by Unlawful Taking (Automobile), Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct.


34 year old Toby Webb, of Harlan, was charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking (Automobile) and Forgery 2nd Degree. All three individuals remain lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center.
