Harlan deputies arrest Dayhoit man on theft, escape, and sexual offense charges involving a minor

On Wednesday, June 30, 2021, Harlan County Deputies arrested and served warrants on 34-year-old Danny Collinger of Dayhoit for theft by unlawful taking, criminal mischief - 1st degree, and criminal trespassing - 3rd degree.


Collinger was also served with a Laurel County Circuit Court indictment warrant for rape - 1st degree, sodomy - 1st degree, incest, two counts of sexual abuse - 1st degree, four counts of unlawful transaction with a minor, and four counts of wanton endangerment - 2nd degree.


He was also served with a Bell County warrant for escape - 2nd degree.


Danny Collinger was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center and is being held without bond for the Harlan charges, $250,000 cash bond in Laurel County, and $50,000 cash bond in Bell County.
