On October 13, 2019 at approximately 1:00 am Deputy Mikey Ashurst observed a man stumbling as he was walking in the roadway on Highway 1232 in Gray. Deputy Ashurst arrested David A Edwards age 50 of Gray, KY charging him with Alcohol Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct, Menacing and Resisting Arrest. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On October 13, 2019 Deputy Mikey Ashurst arrested Andrew Cox age 28 of Barbourville, KY on a Knox County Arrest Warrant for Terroristic Threatening-3rd Degree. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On October 16, 2019 SGT Carl Frith arrested Billy Price age 29 of Barbourville, KY after he came to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office while under the influence. He also had a small child with him. He was charged with Public Intoxication-Controlled Substance and Wanton Endangerment-1st Degree. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center. The child was released to a family member.
On October 16, 2019 Court Security Officer Jesse Smith arrested Dustin Abner age 33 of Barbourville, KY on a Knox Bench Warrant for failure to appear on a Contempt of Court charge. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On October 16, 2019 Deputy Elijah Broughton arrested Brandon Dewayne Mills age 53 of Nicholas, KY on a Knox County Arrest Warrant for Criminal Mischief-2nd Degree. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On October 17, 2019 Deputy Mikey Ashurst arrested Crit Golden age 39 of London, KY on a Knox County Bench Warrant for failure to pay the fines on a License to be in Possession charge. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On October 17, 2019 Deputy Bobby Jones received a complaint of a man beating on doors at the Yellow Brick Apartments on Gregory Lane in Barbourville. When Deputy Jones arrived the man was inside his apartment. After leaving, Deputy Jones received another call reporting the man was outside on the neighbor’s lawn screaming and acting crazy. When Deputy Jones returned he observed the man on the lawn. Deputy Jones arrested Berniel Parker age 34 of Barbourville, KY charging him with Public Intoxication-Controlled Substance and Disorderly Conduct. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On October 19, 2019 Deputy Bobby Jones was dispatched to a complaint of a female under the influence in a vehicle at a residence on Shy Mug Hollow Road in Bimble. When Deputy Jones arrived and made contact with the female, she refused to exit the vehicle. While assisting her out of the vehicle, she kicked the deputy. Deputy Jones arrested Tiffany Grubb age 31 of Barbourville, KY charging her with Public Intoxication-Controlled Substance , Assault-3rd Degree-Police Officer and Resisting Arrest. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On October 20, 2019 Deputy Jones arrested Sabrina C Mills age 32 of Flat Lick, KY on a Knox County Arrest Warrant for Assault-4th Degree. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On October 20, 2019 Deputy Jones arrested Tyler Williams age 33 of Lily, KY on a Knox County Bench Warrant for failure to pay the fine on a Resisting Arrest charge. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On October 20, 2019 Court Security Officer Ashley Banfield arrested Jerry D Hobbs age 37 of Scalf, KY on a Knox Arrest Warrant for Violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO. Jerry Hobbs had been arrested on a Knox County Arrest Warrant on October 20, 2019 for Assault-4th Degree and was still incarcerated in the Knox County Detention Center.
