On June 25, 2019 SGT Carl Frith arrested Joy Lawson age 50 of Rockholds, KY on a Whitley County Bench Warrant for failure to appear on An Operating Motor Vehicle Under the Influence charge. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On June 26, 2019 SGT Carl Frith arrested Brett Barrett age 35 of Barbourville, KY on a Knox County Bench Warrant for failure to pay the fine on a Public Intoxication/
Controlled Substance charge. Brett Barrett was also wanted on a Kentucky Parole Board Warrant for a Parole Board Violation. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On June 27, 2019 Deputy Bobby Jones arrested Zeb Collett age 24 of Cannon, KY on two Knox County Bench Warrants for failure to pay the fines on Criminal Trespass-1st Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and License to be in Possession charge. Zeb Collett was also wanted on a Laurel County Bench Warrant for failure to appear on Public Intoxication/
Controlled Substance and Disorderly Conduct-2nd Degree charges. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On June 27, 2019 Deputy Bobby Jones responded to a domestic violence complaint at a residence on Highway 229 in Jarvis. After contacting the parties involved, Deputy Jones arrested Clyde Stidham age 36 Barbourville, KY charging him with Assault-4th Degree. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On June 28, 2019 Deputy Mike Broughton arrested Donna L Smith age 38 of Barbourville, KY on a Knox County Indictment Warrant for Possession of Control Substance-1st Degree. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On June 28, 2019 SGT Carl Frith arrested Justin Maiden age 30 of Barbourville, KY on a Knox County Arrest Warrant for Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition-over $500. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On June 29, 2019 Deputy Bobby Jones arrested Gregory Steven Brown JR age 33 of Gray, KY on a Knox County Bench Warrant for Violation of Kentucky EPO/DVO. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On June 29, 2019 Deputy Bobby Jones responded to an assault complaint at a residence on Happy Lane in Barbourville. After arriving at the location and conducting an investigation, Deputy Jones arrested Michael Sampson age 46 of Barbourville, KY charging him with Public Intoxication/Controlled Substance and Assault-4th Degree. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On June 30, 2019 Deputy Hunter Luttrell received a call from 911 advising that two juveniles were inside a vehicle and the driver was losing consciousness. Deputy Hunter observed the vehicle cross the center line on Highway 233 and turn into the wrong lane of US-25E in Gray. After conducting a traffic stop, Deputy Luttrell arrested Andrew Potter age 41 of Corbin, KY charging him with Operating Motor Vehicle Under the Influence, Wanton Endangerment-2nd Degree and Reckless Driving. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On July 1, 2019 Deputy Bobby Jones responded to a domestic violence complaint at a residence on Logan Branch Road in Mackey Bend. After interviewing the two victims, Deputy Jones arrested Freddy Smith age 57 of Rockholds, KY charging him with two counts of Assault-4th Degree. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
