On October 24, 2019 Deputy Elijah Broughton was dispatched to a complaint of a female under the influence at the Grace Health Care office in Gray. After making contact with Sherry Lynn Shupe age 52 of Mount Vernon, KY she was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication-Controlled Substance. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On October 24, 2019 Deputy Elijah Broughton arrested Samuel Ray Gray age 59 of Cannon, KY on a Knox County Bench Warrant for failure to pay the fine on a Driving on DUI Suspended License charge. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On October 26, 2019 Deputy Jones arrested Austin Cooper age 25 of Barbourville, KY on a Knox County Bench Warrant for failure to appear on a Contempt of Court charge. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On October 30, 2019 Deputy Mikey Ashurst arrested Melissa Banning age 25 of Gray, KY on a Kentucky Parole Board Warrant for a Parole Violation. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On October 30, 2019 Deputy Mikey Ashurst responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence on Highway 1304 in Cannon. When Deputy Ashurst arrived, a male ran from the driveway of the residence. Deputy Ashurst chased the man through several yards and over an embankment before apprehending him. Deputy Ashurst arrested Arron Robert Brown age 25 of Cannon, KY charging him with Fleeing or Evading Police-2nd Degree, Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place and Resisting Arrest. Aaron Brown was also wanted on four Knox County Bench Warrants for failure to pay the fines on License to be in Possession (2 counts), Fleeing or Evading Police-2nd Degree (2 counts), Resisting Arrest and Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place charges. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On October 31, 2019 Court Security Officer William Hamilton arrested Tiffany Grubb age 31 of Barbourville, KY on a Knox Arrest Warrant for failure to appear on Public Intoxication-Controlled Substance, Assault-3rd Degree and Resisting Arrest charges. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On November 1, 2019 Deputy Elijah Broughton was dispatched to a complaint of a female shoplifting at the Dollar General Store in Gray. Deputy Broughton learned that female had placed the stolen items inside her vehicle and walked south on US 25E toward Grab N Go Market. When Deputy Broughton arrived at the Gab N Go, the female attempted to flee into a wooded area but was apprehended. Jessica M Moore age 32 of Corbin, KY was arrested and charged with Shoplifting, Fleeing or Evading Police-2nd Degree, Disorderly Conduct-2nd Degree and Menacing. After being placed inside the patrol car, Jessica attempted to escape by putting her arm between the cage and the door where it became stuck and had to be removed by Deputy Broughton. She was then charged with Attempted Escape-3rd Degree and lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On November 3, 2019 Deputy Sam Mullins received a complaint of a man wondering around bothering people their residences on Mud Lick Road in Dewitt. Deputy Mullins located and arrested Jerry M Jackson age 42 of Walker, KY charging him with Public Intoxication-Controlled Substance and Criminal Trespassing-3rd Degree. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On November 3, 2019 Deputy Bobby Jones arrested Clyde Lunsford JR age 27 of Barbourville, KY on a Knox County Arrest Warrant for Terroristic Threatening-3rd Degree. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On November 4, 2019 Deputy Sam Mullins received a complaint of a man that had broken into the New Harvest Church on Highway 6 and was still inside. Deputy Mullins located Alonzo C Brown age 40 of Green Road, KY inside the church. He was arrested and charged with Burglary-3rd Degree and Public Intoxication-Controlled Substance. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On November 4, 2019 Court Security Officer Ashley Banfield arrested Trenton Hatfield age 19 of Corbin, KY on a Knox Arrest Warrant for Assault-4th Degree. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On November 4, 2019 Deputy Sam Mullins received a complaint of an intoxicated female at an auto sales lot on US 25E south of Barbourville. After arriving at the location, Deputy Mullins arrested Terry Lynn Daniels age 37 of Barbourville, KY charging her with Alcohol Intoxication ina Public Place. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On November 4, 2019 Deputy Bobby Jones received information of a vehicle stolen from Tennessee being at a residence on HWY 223 in Flat Lick. When Deputy Jones arrived at the location, he observed Thomas Wayne Gray age 38 of Flat Lick, KY sitting inside the vehicle in the driver’s seat. He was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property-under $10,000 and lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On November 4, 2019 Deputy Mike Broughton arrested Michael Sproles age 40 of Barbourville, KY on a Kentucky Parole Board Warrant for a Parole Violation. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
