Knox County SO drug/gun arrests at one residence

From The Knox County Sheriff's Department -

On Monday, June 17, 2019 Knox County Deputy Sam Mullins received information of drug trafficking activity at the residence of Larry Hamilton on Number One Hollow Road in Trosper.


A search warrant was obtained after Deputy Mullins conducted an investigation to verify the information. During the search, a large quantity of Oxycodone tablets, Valium and Xanax tablets, 5 loaded handguns, a shotgun, digital scales, a balance beam scale, a digital police radio scanner, approximately 1 pound of marijuana and over

$6,000 in cash were located inside the residence.


Larry K Hamilton age 53 of Trosper, KY was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance-1st Degree, Trafficking in Controlled Substance-3rd Degree, Trafficking in Marijuana-over 8 ounces, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Radio That Sends/Receives Police Messages.





While the deputies were at the residence, the following people were also arrested as they arrived.



Shane G Towe age 20 of London, KY was charged with Disorderly Conduct.

Christopher Hembree age 48 of Trosper, KY was wanted on a Knox County Bench Warrant for failure to appear on a Contempt of Court Charge.

Ashley Lorena Mills age 24 of Trosper, KY was wanted on a Knox County Bench Warrant for failure to pay the fines on License to be In Possession and Failure to Produce Insurance Card charges.


Larry Hamilton, Shane Towe, Christopher Hembree and Ashley Mills were Lodged in the Knox County Detention Center. Knox County Deputies Bobby Jones and James Fox assisted in the search and arrests.
