A Friday afternoon January 3, 2020 a search warrant led to the seizure of illegal drugs and the arrest of a Lee County woman.
Lee County Sheriff Gary Parsons reports that the search warrant was executed at the residence of Angela Michelle Coomer of 171 Old Fincastle Road Rosehill, Virginia. According to the sheriff, once inside the residence officers found in excess of 56 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
Coomer was charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of a schedule 1 or 2 narcotic and possession of marijuana. Parsons said Coomer was arrested and is held in the Duffield Regional Jail without bail.
Sheriff Parsons commended the work of the officers involved in the search and arrest.
