From the Bell County Sheriff's Department -
Just after 12:30am Sunday, October 27, 2019 Bell County Dispatch received a call from Fire Chief Tony Dye of the Bell County Volunteer Fire Department in regard to an individual causing a disturbance at BCVFD Headquarters just off of Highway 119.
As Bell County Deputy Jake Perry was responding to the scene, another call came in to dispatch that the situation was escalating.
It was determined once the officer arrived that 22 Jacolby Zachary of Middlesboro arrived for an unknown reason at the fire station and was involved in verbal altercations with several members of the department.
Deputy Perry states that after his arrival and gaining control of the situation separating all parties involved, Zachary continued to instigate an already tense situation. Zachary would not follow any of the verbal commands of the deputy so he was placed under arrest.
Jacolby Zachary was transported to and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with disorderly conduct – 2nd degree and is being held on a $10,000 cash bond.
