WRIL spoke to Spider and Sons Glass owner Debbie Gent Hunley who tells us that just after 11:00pm Tuesday night October 8, 2019 her security system alerted her to someone breaking into her business on 19th street.
Once on scene Middlesboro Officers Dakota Torstrick, Jeremiah Johnson, and Lt. Floyd Patterson arrested two individuals, identified as 29-year-old Adam Evans and 30-year-old Joshua Jennings, both of Middlesboro. The two were found hiding inside the business after breaking a window and causing damage to a door while entering the building.
Both Adam Evans and Joshua Jennings were charged with burglary – 2nd degree and criminal mischief – 3rd degree.
Jennings was additionally charged with a bench warrant for failure to appear in court in January of 2014.
