From WRIL -
Heavy rain in Middlesboro had roadways flooded. This stream next to Happy Hollow Road became overwhelmed and a woman who decided to drive the roadway went over an embankment and became trapped in the water.
Two men have most likely saved her life as the water was above her chest when they rescued her. The two men were identified as Darrell Houston and Dillion Seigler by Middlesboro Police.
Even though the water receded quickly you should never drive over flooded roadways.
Responding to the scene was Lt. David Buis, Sgt. Floyd Patterson, and Officer Jeremiah Johnson.
