Traffic stop in Knox County leads to drug charges for London woman

On November 16, 2021, Knox County Deputy Elijah Broughton conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no visible registration plate. When Deputy Broughton approached the vehicle, he observed the driver attempting to hide something inside her clothing.


After arresting the driver, Jamie Tara Hoskins age 29 of London, KY, Deputy Broughton charged her with No Operators License and No Registration Plates or Receipt.


During the arrest Deputy Broughton also recovered a plastic bag containing suspected Heroin, a plastic bag containing suspected Methamphetamine, several syringes and a set of digital scales.

Jamie Hoskins was then charged with two (2) counts of Trafficking in Controlled Substance-1st Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.


She was also wanted on an Indiana Department of Corrections Warrant for a Parole Violation charge.


Jamie Hoskins was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
