Call of a woman passed out at a pharmacy drive thru nets a Middlesboro arrest

From The Middlesboro Police department -


On Friday January 29, 2021 at approximately 8:00 pm, Middlesboro Officers received a call of a female possibly under the influence while sitting in the drive through at Kroger Pharmacy. Responding to the call was Officer Bradly Fuson who made contact with 33 year old Amber Emmett.


Officer Fuson reported that Emmett was having a hard time answering basic questions and was extremely unsteady on her feet. Officer Fuson conducted a field sobriety test on Emmett which determined she was under the influence. Amber Emmett was was placed under arrest and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with DUI - 1st degree (Aggravated circumstances), failure to maintain insurance, no insurance, and no registration plate.


Also assisting on scene was Middlesboro Officer Nick Capps.
