On Monday August 19, 2019 at approximately 2:10 pm while on patrol in the Girdler area, Knox County Deputy Sam Mullins observed a possible illegal drug transaction involving a 2009 silver Chevrolet Impala occurring in a local business parking lot on Highway 11 in Girdler.
After conducting an investigation, Deputy Mullins located numerous Oxycodone and Hydrocodone tablets. 58 year old Randall R Engle of Cannon, KY was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance-1st Degree and Prescription Controlled Substance not Proper Container.
He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
