From the Laurel County Sheriff's Office -
Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, Trevor Donald Collins age 23 and Jessica O'Dell age 28 of Scott Street in London pled guilty in Laurel Circuit Court to a recommended sentence of 30 years regarding an investigation conducted by Laurel Sheriff's Lieut. Chris Edwards and other Sheriff's investigators.
The complaint was reported and investigated by Sheriff's detectives and the individuals were arrested on February 22, 2021 in London.
Allegedly, Jessica O'Dell and her boyfriend, Trevor Donald Collins, had reportedly subjected a female child to sexual intercourse, sodomy, and deviant sexual intercourse. The pair pled guilty to a recommended sentence of 30 years.
Trevor Donald Collins pled to one count of rape first-degree child under 12 and one count of sodomy first-degree child under 12.
Jessica Renée O'Dell pled guilty to two counts of sodomy – first-degree – child 12 or under. Final sentencing to be scheduled.
They are both lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
This case was prosecuted by Kentucky Commonwealth Atty. for Laurel and Knox County – Jackie Steele.
